Kakadu - Part 2

As I've discovered,  it's not possible to edit posts in Blogger while off-line & then upload them on the rare occasions on this trip where there is internet. Here belatedly are a few photos of the walks we did while staying in Kakadu for a week in late June. It took a fair bit of driving to get to these places, especially Jim Jim Falls.

The early morning cruise at Yellow Water was great for getting close, but not too close, to some scaley critters. I'd never before seen crocs catching fish by trapping them against the river bank.The abundant birdlike was impressive. They didn't seem too worried by the nearby crocs.
I didn't expect to see wild donkeys in Kakadu.
